Pease Integrative Medicine Office utilizes a software tool (Note Assist Ambient Scribe technology) within the electronic health record system to make it easier to write medical notes. It helps the physician spend more time focused on patient care, and less time on the computer. This tool will listen to doctor-patient conversation and convert it into a summary, which the physician will review and edit for accuracy. The tool will have access to the audio of doctor-patient conversation during visits, but the audio itself will not be saved. Your medical information will stay private and only shared with those you allow. Patients must consent to the use of this tool during visits.

What is Note Assist? Note Assist is Elation’s leading ambient scribe clinical documentation tool. Note Assist helps the physician spend more time delivering personalized patient care by creating visit notes from conversations with patients—no extra setup, software, or copying and pasting is needed. It works with Visit Note Templates and uses details from the patient’s chart, like existing patient problems, pronouns or other clinical details, to create more personalized, accurate notes. Note Assist also tracks the action items the physician wants the patient to complete after their visit, creating a real-time checklist so the patient can quickly take the necessary steps to carry out those actions or orders in their Care Plan. The physician can tailor how Note Assist writes each section of the visit note to match the physician's documentation style, reducing post-visit editing and helping finish charts faster.  Seamlessly integrated into the EHR, this empowers the physician to accelerate documentation, lighten administrative load, and stay focused on delivering high-quality, personalized care.

Elation offers multiple product features to enable providers and practices to share or restrict data and collect patient consent in accordance with both patient privacy and information sharing requirements.
